[call us for school field trips, family or class reunions, etc.!]

Closing for the winter: 9/31/19

The Cody Heritage Museum opened to the public

for the first time in mid-May of 2018 and we all enjoyed a wonderful celebration at our Grand Opening on July 19th.  We hope you have been in to visit!

The Museum will be closed for the winter from October 1st to the spring of 2019 -- but we are open for guided visits to school history classes, civic groups and clubs, family reunions, etc. -- just call 307.586-4272 or email director@codyheritagemuseum@gmail.com to set up an appointment for a visit with our Curator/Director Lynn Houze.

Also -- keep an eye out for news and posters when we schedule an open day for special downtown  Cody events -- like Turkey Day, Cody Cowboy Christomas, etc.

Although we have a good start on a volunteer group, we are looking for more people who love Cody, enjoy history and are willing to come to a training session and then commit to, for instance, one shift monthly.

Do you want to be a part of this historic undertaking?!? Ten years in the making to bring a museum focused on the people, businesses and industries that built the town of Cody! We are thrilled and excited to be open, and hope you will come see what it is all about.

If you want to respond re: volunteering via email, please send your name and contact info to:  info@codyheritagemuseum.org.
Questions? Call 586-4272.

After a planning, restoration and design phase of over 10 years, the Cody Heritage Museum OPENED  for visitors this summer!!
